Red White Blue Ice Cubes (Printable Version)

Patriotic ice cubes layered with blueberries, coconut and strawberries to chill and decorate summer drinks.

# What You'll Need:

→ Fruit

01 - 1/2 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
02 - 1/2 cup strawberries, hulled and chopped
03 - 1/2 cup fresh coconut meat or unsweetened shredded coconut

→ Liquids

04 - 1 cup coconut water
05 - 1 cup natural blueberry juice
06 - 1 cup natural strawberry juice or cranberry juice

# How to Make It:

01 - Rinse blueberries and strawberries thoroughly. Hull and chop strawberries and prepare coconut meat or ensure shredded coconut is ready.
02 - Distribute blueberries into the bottom third of each ice cube tray compartment. Pour in enough blueberry juice to cover the berries. Place tray in freezer and freeze until solid, about 1 hour.
03 - Once the blue layer is firm, layer coconut meat or sprinkle shredded coconut over each section. Pour coconut water into each compartment until two-thirds full. Return to the freezer and freeze for approximately 1 hour, until set.
04 - Top each cube with chopped strawberries, then fill compartments to the top with strawberry juice or cranberry juice. Freeze until completely solid, about 2 additional hours.
05 - Once fully frozen, remove the colorful ice cubes from the tray and add to lemonade, sparkling water, or festive cocktails before serving.
